What are Fbs, decos, slams, etc...

On this blog, you may read quite often about booklets. But not everybody knows what I mean by that. In the letter-writing and swapping world, Booklets are pieces of paper which are stapeled together. It then looks like a small booklet made for one person (the owner) by another person (maker). The booklet is passed on, from one penpal to another. And the last signer has to send it back to the owner.

The various types

Here is a biref description of the main categories, but there are often new ones popping up!

Friendship Books (FBs): this is the most simple kind. As a signer, you just have to sign with your address and, if you like, some info on what you're looking for (penpal, swapper, etc.)
Slams: as for FBs, you start by putting your address . the difference is that the rest of the booklet is made of questions you have to answer.
Lyrix: once again it starts the same way, then you have to use a page and "decorate" it with lyrix from a song.
Deco: undoubtedly the most creative ones! You take a page and decorate it (according to a theme, if there's one). You can use glitter, scrapbooking material, etc.
